Keynotes & Showcases

Nordic Flagship Projects Showcase
Discover the Nordics’ most ambitious hydrogen initiatives — from large-scale e-fuel production and hydrogen-powered public transport to pioneering cross-border transmission infrastructure.
Together, these projects show how show how Finland and the other Nordic countries are building a world-leading hydrogen ecosystem through real, on-the-ground implementation.

Keynote: Think big and establish Europe’s biggest green hydrogen plant
We’re proud to welcome Teemu Suursalmi, Head of Hydrogen at Stegra Boden AB, as a Northern Power keynote speaker. With over 20 years of experience in industrial hydrogen operations, he offers rare, hands-on insight into scaling safe and reliable green hydrogen production.
Stegra is driving a clean industrial revolution starting with steel: its first plant in Boden, northern Sweden, is set to produce green steel by 2026, cutting emissions by up to 95% through green hydrogen and green iron. And this is only the beginning—Stegra is already advancing decarbonization across other heavy industries.
